- The apartment complex saves San Francisco city government $2.4 million a year in costs associated with services for chronically homeless individuals as well as water conservation.
- The complex’s landscape was designed to maximize rainwater infiltration on the sandy site.
- The green streetscape includes permeable pavers and rain gardens.
- Roughly one-third of the building's residents are in wheelchairs, so shared spaces are fully accessible.
