Parks and Recreation
The Parks and Recreation PPN promotes collaboration and the sharing of ideas, issues, and trends that advance the profession on park planning, design, and other park-related issues. The PPN works to identify resources, promote collaboration between practitioners, and explore needs and opportunities related to parks and recreation.
This group provides a forum to share ideas and challenges, such as sustainable and resilient park design, defensible design for parks, designing for equity and activation, green infrastructure in parks, and other topics of interest.
PPN goals include:
- Explore the latest trends and challenges in park design.
- Provide open collaboration between and connect private, public, and academic sectors in relation to parks.
