Rachel Hill, ASLA, is a landscape designer in Portland, Oregon. Rachel works on international as well as local park projects for AECOM’s
Buildings and Places group in Portland.
She received a master of landscape architecture degree from the University of Arizona, where she worked for the Drachman Institute for Land and Regional Development Studies, developing community and park master plans with economically stressed communities in southern Arizona. Rachel received a Fulbright Scholarship to study food systems design and planning in Croatia and carried that expertise into her work on a Swiss National Science grant that focused on “food urbanism” in Switzerland.
Rachel serves on Oregon ASLA’s executive committee and works with a local non-profit to design
green space in underserved communities.
