  • Contribute to and support climate research projects at local universities
  • Collaborate with academics on climate action projects
    • Example: Contact Regional CELA Regional Directors and CELA Resilience and Climate Action Track Chairs
     

How can you partner with other chapters to focus on specific climate issues and impacts in your region?

Ideas:

  • Leverage the ASLA Climate and Biodiversity Action Network (CBAN) to find like-minded members
  • Co-organize a webinar series focused on regional climate impacts
    • Example: The ASLA Great Lakes Region has organized the Great Lakes Region Climate Action Seminar for the past four years.
     
  • Co-organize an in-person regional climate action summit
  • Participate in a CBAN assembly at the ASLA conference
