Description:

The City of St. Louis seeks a qualified firm to lead the Green Infrastructure Design component of its CDBG-DR-funded program by providing architectural/engineering professional services. The selected firm will work closely with the Community Development Administration (CDA) to design and support the implementation of green infrastructure projects.

Site-Specific Design Development:
CDA, in partnership with PDA and community stakeholders, will select sites to move forward to design and development. The firm will create customized architectural designs, detailed bid documents, and site renderings for sites approved by CDA, adhering to parameters set by CDA, such as budget constraints, desired water retention capacity, intended use and other community priorities.

Construction Contractor Bid Process:
CDA will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), review submissions, and contract with selected contractors to execute the green infrastructure projects. The selected firm may be asked to participate in review of projects and negotiation of contractual scope.

Construction Management Support:
The firm will provide ongoing oversight during the construction phase to ensure projects are executed in alignment with the approved design, budget, architectural renderings, and green infrastructure industry best practices.
