Winning Photos: 2021 DREAM BIG with Minecraft Design Competition
A talented team of high school students at the Design and Architecture Senior High School (DASH) in Miami, FL won ASLA's inaugural DREAM BIG with Minecraft Design Competition with their redesign of Concord Park, a grassy recreation area located in Miami.
After completing an introductory session on landscape architecture with Jeff Holzer, ASLA, students created teams to brainstorm then sketch their plans for a multi-use park that included a basketball court, soccer field, bike and walking paths, a patio, water fountain, and more. They spent six hours building their designs with Minecraft.
