Research

Republishing and Reprinting

The research reviews will be published under the copyright of the grant recipient. As described more fully in the Grant Agreement to be executed with the recipient upon selection, with the permission of the ASLA Fund, the recipient may republish adapted versions of the research in peer-reviewed journals or for other internal educational purposes. In any adapted version, the ASLA Fund will need to be credited as the sole sponsor of the research and review and approve the adapted version prior to publication.

The ASLA Professional and Student Awards image terms of use don’t extend to sharing images with non-media peer-reviewed journals. Republishing any ASLA Professional or Student Awards from the research review in a peer-reviewed journal will require explicit permission from the firms and photographers. Grant recipients would be responsible for securing those permissions.
