About
Firm Leadership
In 1957, Hideo Sasaki, founder of his eponymous firm, stated that: "There should be no confusion over provinces, assignments, or competencies. Contribution is the only value for it brings the advantage of giving more than one person's slant to the problem, and shows how differences may be harmonized through active discussion."
Since forming a diversity committee in 2012, Sasaki, a leading landscape architecture firm, has administered annual diversity surveys, engaged diversity consultants, created focus groups and recommendations, created a diversity timeline and initiatives, and then implemented its action plan to become a more diverse and inclusive firm.
