Contribute to the ASLA/USTA Partnership

In support of ASLA's partnership with USTA, we are looking for ASLA members to serve on joint working groups to represent landscape architecture in creating standard specifications for master planning of tennis facilities in municipal parks, as well as the creation of best practices for ensuring these facilities are following sustainable design practices.

To help move these initiatives forward, we are asking for ASLA members to sign up for one of the following working groups:

Master Planning and Facility Development

Develop optimal strategies for master planning and facility development

  • Discover opportunities to design and deliver educational and training programs
  • Local Connection - Foster potential funding and advocacy opportunities through collaborative projects

Conservation & Sustainability

Joint pilot project to develop best practices for racquet/paddle facility development within SITES and/or ASLA Climate Action Plan Guidelines

  • Develop case study work / White Paper
  • Develop a ‘How to’ Field guide

The time commitment for these working groups would be minimal, with bi-monthly meetings and some input between meetings.

Please go to this sign-up form to let us know your interest in serving on a working group.
