Celebrating 20 years of advancing green infrastructure, CitiesAlive 2024 is packed with over 100 expert speakers, immersive workshops, and exclusive tours. With five concurrent tracks of presentations, architects can explore key topics like biophilic design, rooftop agriculture, and climate-positive practices. Trainings such as "Designing Green Roofs for Biodiversity" and "Biophilic Design: Principles and Practices" provide actionable insights for architects eager to integrate nature-based solutions into their work. Other workshops will cover areas such as living walls, green roof maintenance, crop production on rooftops, and innovative policies for urban greening.

Hands-on learning is further enriched by tours showcasing Toronto’s most advanced green projects. Don’t miss the East End Toronto Green Infrastructure Tour or the Don River Renaturalization Tour, which highlight Toronto’s ongoing efforts to build resilient and sustainable cities. The conference also offers multiple networking events, including the 20th Anniversary kick off which includes the receptions on the trade show floor, and the Industry Pioneers Gala.
