Are you attending the upcoming ASLA 2024 Conference on Landscape Architecture in Washington, D.C., on October 6-9? Later in the month on October 13, you’re invited to join us for a free webinar with Buffalo native and heritage conservation architect Clinton Brown. Brown’s webinar will act as a precursor to Pop-Up Buffalo— our last group travel experience of the year— on October 30- November 1. To kick things off, guests will be treated to a special dinner in the Glessner Room of The Richardson Hotel and a rousing discussion of Olmsted’s work in the city with Richardson Olmsted Campus President Paris Roselli and author and scholar Frank Kowsky. Over the next two days, the group will tour Forest Lawn Cemetery, the city’s Olmsted-designed park system, Niagara Falls USA and the former Buffalo State Asylum, which has been recognized many times for its preservation and reuse. This event is worth 5 LA CES credits. Tickets are $350 and include some meals, all tours and event transportation.
