Join us to learn about a new web-based community engagement toolkit built upon environmental psychology principles to help improve community participation throughout the design and construction process. The toolkit introduced in this webinar shows practitioners how to partner with diverse communities to create projects that have local benefits, incorporate place-based culture and meaning, and improve overall ecological health. Practitioners will learn how to better understand and include the perspectives of diverse populations and residents at every stage of the planning and design process. Case studies from design firms will illustrate how landscape architects have used innovative engagement techniques with diverse communities to create successful projects that are creatively address community needs and create beautiful places.
