Countdown to World Landscape Architecture Month

ASLA 2023 Professional General Design Honor Award. Hood Bike Park: Pollution Purging Plants, Charlestown, Massachusetts. Offshoots, Inc. / Peter Vanderwarker / Offshoots, Inc.

April is World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM), a time to highlight the impact of landscape architecture on communities and the environment, advocate for the profession, and inspire the next generation of landscape architects.

You can join the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #WLAM2024. Capture your favorite landscape architect-designed spaces with a card that reads, “This is Landscape Architecture,” follow our daily prompts, or share your unique perspective. Tag us @NationalASLA for a chance to see your post on our social profiles and in Landscape Architecture Magazine!

During WLAM, we invite you to spark girl power with STEM Literacy by Design. Register your chapter by March 25 to inspire young girls and future landscape architects through engaging story time readings and design activities. Participating chapters will receive copies of four books written by ASLA members!

Explore asla.org/wlam for additional resources and WLAM updates. Visit your chapter’s website for the latest WLAM events and activities.
