We Salute You, BlackLAN: ASLA Celebrates Black History Month 2022

BlackLAN meeting at the 2021 ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture in Nashville.

ASLA celebrates both the legacy and current work of Black landscape architects during Black History Month 2022. Black History Month is the annual observance and month-long tribute to African Americans and the wealth of contributions they have made to this country and the world.

This year, ASLA's celebration of Black History Month will be dedicated to the Black Landscape Architects Network (BlackLAN) and the great advancements made within the organization over just the past year.

Throughout the month of February, ASLA and BlackLAN will join in delivering a vibrant social media display of BlackLAN member accolades and new programming efforts the organization will launch this year.

Connect with ASLA National on social media and watch for our posts about BlackLAN.

As we celebrate BlackLAN this month, we invite you to find inspiration from past ASLA celebrations of African Americans in landscape architecture.
