Nka Foundation provides hands-on, site-based internships for landscape architecture students to learn by doing through use of local materials and infrastructure in rural Ghana. Participants live at the Abetenim Arts Village located 40 km southeast of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. A typical responsibility is to collaborate with others to design and build site-specific landscape architecture such as a playground for the local elementary school, a rest shelter, a pond for local species, or a nonfunctional structure over the arts village landscape. Interested? Then contact firstname.lastname@example.org / www.nkafoundation.org for an application form.
