Completed in 2000, Millennium Park can be accessed daily from dawn to 8pm. Free parking in one of the three public lots is available to those arriving in a vehicle.

Curving Paths Lead to Trails
Paved, curving paths connect the pedestrian to the extensive network of trails, athletic fields, and riverfront. Keeping with the organic design of the park, rip rap swales allow for minimal disturbance and lead to an on-site detention pond.

The Loop
The Mezzanine Loop, a switchback path traversing the planted slope, is both handicap and stroller accessible.

The Lower Path
The lower path, also called the Millennium Park Loop, abuts the adjacent wetland and is a great place to bring dogs for an afternoon walk. Looking northwest, towards the high point of the park, one can see the varying color tones of the meadow that blankets a majority of Millennium Park.

A Secondary Trail
A secondary trail, off of the Millennium Park Loop, connects the park to the adjacent Brook Farm, extending as far as the Helen Hayn Riverway and Nahantan Park.

A Canoe Launch
Access to the Charles River is available from the canoe launch at Millennium Park. A parking lot offers a direct connection to the launch making for convenient load and unloading. Even the dogs take advantage of the stepped concrete pads and timber risers, giving an easy approach to the water’s edge.

View from the Skyline Loop
Looking northwest from the Skyline Loop, you can view the Charles River as well as neighboring Canton Park and Western Massachusetts beyond.

A Play Landscape
At the crest of the hill are four recreation fields, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The play scape was designed with multiple age groups in mind, intending to target small children to adolescents.

Sweeping Views
Sweeping views of the Massachusetts hillside and glimpses of the Boston skyline can be seen from the highest point of the park. Open fields are home to local sporting events and are known to attract professional and amateur kite enthusiasts from around the country.
