Joe Geller, FASLA, is a registered landscape architect in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, New York, and Ohio. He received his bachelor's in landscape architecture from the University of Toronto.
Joe has been involved in all aspects of project management, site master planning, and design. He enjoys the strategic aspect of the planning, permitting, and entitlement process and has led successful efforts for an array of project types, including institutional, commercial, residential, and healthcare. With more than 30 years of experience, Joe is passionate about enhancing his surroundings and believes landscape architecture betters our quality of life, our communities, and our world.
He practices at Stantec Consulting Inc.’s Boston office where he is the company-wide practice leader for landscape architecture as well as the regional leader for New England. Currently, Joe is working on a number of community-based housing developments as well as healthcare and senior housing projects.
Among his most satisfying projects is Newbridge on the Charles, an inter-generational campus combining senior services and a childhood education program, all within a beautiful campus along the Charles River.
Many mornings before work, you can find Joe running at the Muddy River Reservation, part of Frederick Law Olmsted’s Emerald Necklace park system.
