Nine Year-long Internships Open with the Morris Arboretum

The Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania, a 166-acre premier public garden in Philadelphia, has openings for nine year-long interns. Positions are open in education, urban forestry, plant protection, plant propagation, arboriculture, botany, horticulture, and the rose and flower garden. Interns work under direction of department. supervisor; seminars and practical sessions to help interns develop professionally are held weekly. Interns receive academic credit at UPenn. Salary: $10.60 per hour plus health, dental and tuition benefits, four weeks paid vacation. Positions start June 17, 2013. Qualifications: background in horticulture, biology, botany, landscape design, or education.
