Mike Faha, ASLA, is a founding principal of the award-winning firm GreenWorks, PC. His primary professional interest is in creating livable, sustainable communities that balance economic, ecological, and social needs. Mike leads planning and design teams that integrate urban natural systems, green infrastructure, and urban ecological design. Mike is adept at working with clients, regulators, and stakeholders in creating projects with broad support. His prior employment with engineering, ecological, and landscape architectural firms helped propel him into a leadership role that integrates various professional disciplines, helping them in meeting multi-objective community design goals.
Mike has served on numerous boards, including ASLA Oregon where he serves as the Past Chapter President, Urban Greenspace Institute, and the Human Access Project. Additionally, Mike has served on many advisory boards related to urban stormwater management, habitat-friendly design practices, and sustainable stormwater management.
