Smart Code RFQ, Riverside, California

Date: 12/21/2013 - 2/12/2014

Type: RFPs / RFQs

Location(s): California

Description:

To provide services for the preparation of a Smart Code Specific Plan and Program Environmental Impact Report with Northside Neighborhood Vision, including Master Planning Services for 179 Acres of Vacant Property (aka, Riverside Smart Code).

The scope of services for this project is extensive. It will entail significant community involvement and interaction with the Riverside City Council, Planning Commission, innumerable community organizations, and others to achieve expected outcomes. The intent of this effort is to arrive at a truly community-supported vision for the project area(s) and the broad-ranging community-based implementation program requisite to achieve it. Riverside is an amazing city, and this is not an ordinary urban and environmental planning and design effort. Likewise, consultant teams responding to the RFQ should be extraordinary.

As a first step in selecting a team to lead a successful community-based effort for the Riverside Smart Code, the city is requesting that interested and qualified consultants obtain a copy of the RFQ at www.RiversideSmartCode.info. At this website, there is a more information on the project as well as a link entitled “Download Request for Qualifications” whereby you may obtain the RFQ.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of this opportunity to make a difference in the City of Riverside.
