Brief description of event: Join fellow Landscape Architects at the San Francisco Zoo on Saturday, April 11 from 8a.m until 11a.m. You will volunteer as part of RENEW THE ZOO and rewarded for your hard work with refreshments, free ride coupons and a warm feeling from helping the Zoo promote conservation. Name of activity: POPOS (Privately Owned Public Open Spaces)
Date: April 28, 2009
Location: 560 Mission Street, San Francisco: at 12 noon Tour takes one hour.
Additional sponsors or participating organizations: SPUR- San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association

Brief description of event: Eva Lieberman, City Planner, City of San Francisco will conduct a SPUR sponsored tour of POPOS (Privately owned Public Open Spaces) at noontime, on Tuesday, April 28. This “Secrets of San Francisco” is still available on their web site (http://www.spur.org).
Eva starts the tour during the lunchtime hour in order to see how these spaces work for the intended users. Eva leads these tours as PR for SPUR and to make people aware of this great downtown resource.
