The City of Snellville, Georgia, is soliciting proposals from experienced development firms to develop a parcel of city-owned land that is located in the town center planning area at 2306 Wisteria Drive. The site is a key element in the development of our town center as proposed by The Towne Center Plan adopted in May 2011. The city-owned property is +/-10.5 acres in area. The property is currently entitled for 172 multifamily units and 52,800 sf of retail/office space. The City of Snellville expects that the selected developer will create a mixed-use project which incorporates mixed uses in keeping with the proposed Towne Center Master Plan.
The city encourages respondents to carefully examine The Towne Center @ Snellville Master Plan for additional opportunities that could be available within the immediate area of the city-owned site. We are currently beginning the installation of a major streetscape project -- Wisteria Drive, Clower Street and Oak Road -- to enhance pedestrian access to the core areas project area.
