Last Chance to Submit Green Infrastructure Projects

March 31 deadline looms.

The deadline for submitting your green infrastructure projects is just days away on March 31. ASLA is still far short of its goal of submitting at least 300 projects to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to demonstrate the benefits of green infrastructure.

As practitioners, you know that green infrastructure technologies are sustainable, cost-effective approaches to addressing our nation's stormwater management issues. Your case studies will provide the intellectual case for widespread application of green infrastructure techniques in communities across the country. From parks, rain gardens, parking lots, nature centers, cargo centers, green streets, and even a state capitol, many ASLA members are sharing their green infrastructure projects that are helping to manage stormwater runoff. But more effort is needed.

If you have not done so, please submit your case studies this week.

As EPA begins this landmark national Rulemaking to Strengthen the Stormwater Program, ASLA’s submitted projects and case studies will prove invaluable in demonstrating to other policy makers and stakeholders that green infrastructure is a successful tool in managing our nation’s water supply.

Take a moment today to tell your green infrastructure success story; click HERE to submit your case study.
