Kentucky The Kentucky Chapter has announced the call for entries for their 2011 awards. The deadline for entry is February 11. The purpose of the program is to recognize excellence in the profession of landscape architecture in the Commonwealth of Kentucky; to provide a forum for the review, and evaluation of work currently shaping our environment; and to highlight achievements in landscape architecture in the Commonwealth to a wide audience. |

Pennsylvania/Delaware The Pennsylvania Delaware Chapter of ASLA opened the call for their 2011 professional and student awards. Entry form, fee and submission binder must be received by February 1 at 5 PM. Additional information can be found online at www.padeasla.org. Arizona On December 16, 2010, the Southern Section AzASLA partnered with ULI, APA, AIA, ABA and Friends of Planning to present a holiday Mixer at Acacia in Tucson. The event had a number of generous sponsors, including Kimley-Horn Associates and Olsson Associates. More than 150 professionals attended and 88 lbs of food and $250 in donations for the Community Food Bank were collected. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet individuals practicing in some of our allied professions and to celebrate the magic of the season.
