Nka Foundation provides hands-on, site-based internships for landscape architecture students to learn-by-doing through use of local materials and infrastructure in rural Ghana. Participants live at the Abetenim Arts Village located 40 km Southeast of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. A typical responsibility is to collaborate with others to design-build a site-specific landscape architecture such as a playground for the local elementary school, rest shelter, pond for local species, or a non-functional structure over the arts village landscape. Interested? Then, contact firstname.lastname@example.org / www.nkafoundation.org for application form.
