ASLA Council of Fellows

Council of Fellows Header

Fellowship is among the highest honors the ASLA bestows on members and recognizes the contributions of these individuals to their profession and society at large based on their works, leadership and management, knowledge, and service. The designation of Fellow is conferred on individuals in recognition of exceptional accomplishments over a sustained period of time. Individuals considered for this distinction must be full members of ASLA in good standing for at least ten years and must be recommended to the Council of Fellows by the Executive Committee of their local chapter, the Executive Committee of the ASLA, or the Executive Committee of the Council of Fellows.

The call for 2016 nominations is now open.  Final submissions are due to ASLA by 12midnight on January 15, 2016.  Lists of eligible members were sent to each chapter executive committee in mid September.  Additionally, all eligible members will receive notification from the COF Chair in early October.

Beginning this year, nominations will be submitted using an online submission system supported by CadmiumCD.  Each submitter (chapter, committee, or individual) will need to create an account. A chapter may create one account and upload several nominations with the one account.  Submissions will still require the five-page nomination template however the contact information for the nominee and chapter will be entered online rather than through the one-page nomination form previously used. Please contact Curt Millay (cmillay@asla.org) if you have any questions.
