The theme of the 11th Annual CitiesAlive Green Roof and Wall Conference is Securing Urban Resiliency with Living Architecture: Food - Water - Energy
People in every urban region need access to clean water, secure energy and food. At CitiesAlive 2013 in San Francisco, we will explore the many links between the roofs and walls of our cities and the critical social, environmental ,and economic necessities of urban life that lead to urban resilience.
NOTE: Special call for submissions / projects from the West Coast region of North America, for one day of programming that targets local (West Coast) green wall and roof projects, policy and research (Thursday, October 24, 2013).
Benefits of presenting at CitiesAlive: Opportunity to present your groundbreaking research, innovative design case study or novel policy changes to a highly interested group of green roof and wall enthusiasts. Speakers will receive a reduced speaker rate of $299 to attend, which includes the trade show, plenary sessions, the awards of excellence luncheon, networking receptions, and other speaker sessions.
