Description:

The San Antonio River Authority (SARA) has submitted a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an engineering consultant to support the SARA Sustainable Watersheds Implementation Program with an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).

The purpose of this RFP: Through this contract, SARA will continue to develop an in-house multidiscipline team of sustainable stormwater experts to assess, design, permit, construct, and monitor low-impact development and green infrastructure projects. The anticipated result is that SARA will provide a needed public service and strengthen our role as a regional expert and effective advocate of low impact development adoption. Our strategy is to combine the best features of previous science and with best management practices that adapt and improve those methods to match specific climate, soil types and customer expectations for this region.

Program funding is anticipated to be available from the SARA Maintenance and Operations (M&O) ad valorem tax revenues leveraged in partnerships with other grants, agencies and private owners Visit http://www.sara-tx.org/public_information/contracting_opportunities/.
