Greater & Greener: Reimagining Parks for 21st Century Cities (July 14 – 17, 2012, in New York City) aims to increase national and international awareness of the positive impact that parks and green spaces have on our urban communities and explore how parks will be designed, developed, programmed, funded, and sustained to meet future demands. The Greater & Greener conference is the premier forum for innovative and effective urban park development, programming, funding, and policy making. The event features more than 60 breakout sessions and 40 interactive in-the-field workshops and tours. Don’t miss this opportunity to re-imagine parks in a new context of regional ecosystems, community health needs, public-private partnerships, economic growth, sustainable development, neighborhood equity, and changing demographics.
Presented by City Parks Alliance in partnership with NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.
