Each student chapter may submit one nomination. To nominate your chapter's choice, complete the enclosed nomination form and required attachments and return via mail or fax no later than 5:00 pm (eastern) January 30, 2013.
All nomination forms must be accompanied by:
- A brief letter from the nominee outlining why he/she is interested in the position of Student Representative. Letter should be addressed to the “ASLA Emerging Professional Committee”.
- A brief résumé that follows the attached format, and
- A letter of recommendation from the landscape architecture program head. Letter should be addressed to the “ASLA Emerging Professional Committee”.
The ASLA Emerging Professionals Committee will select the top nominees (up to five), and their names will be placed on the ballot for Student Representative. The ballot, along with the candidates' qualifications and letters of recommendation, will be sent to each student chapter for review and selection. Each student chapter has ONE vote to be submitted by the Student Chapter President or their Proxy.
Ballots will be accepted from February 18-22, 2013. The 2013-2014 Student Representative will be announced at the LABASH to be held at University of Georgia, March 21-23, 2013.
