Frank Lloyd Wright’s Blurred Line in the Desert: Taliesin West and Other Projects
Ticketed event. Tickets available through TCLF.
The Sonoran Desert has been a beguiling muse to generations of architects and landscape architects, none more so than Frank Lloyd Wright. Wright’s winter home and work space, Taliesin West, on 600 acres he purchased 75 years ago, is a 20th century icon and enduring source of inspiration. Join The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF) for an exclusive guided walking tour of the historic studio, school, and home of Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin West, along with walking visits to several other private Frank Lloyd Wright properties. The daylong excursion will include a festive luncheon and a visit to Cosanti, the eccentric and thoroughly original residence and sculpture studio of Paolo Soleri (a Frank Lloyd Wright student) with Soleri himself. Tickets are limited and proceeds support TCLF’s educational initiatives. Visit http://tclf.org/event/asla-phoenix-garden-excursion tolearn more.
